The 7th Asia-Pacific Women's Golf Championship kicks off tomorrow in Duy Xuyen, Vietnam, featuring Emirati players aiming for top spots and international experience.


Start of the 7th Asia-Pacific Women's Golf Championship

Tomorrow, competitions will begin within the Women's Gulf Championship among women from the countries of Asia and the Pacific region. The events will take place from March 6 to 9 at the Huyna Shores Golf Club in the Dykesuin mountains. Competing for the OAE team are players Intisar Al-Rish, Lara Al-Sheib, and Khanna Allaan under the guidance of coach Flora Byut.

Intisar Al-Rish, who represents the OAE at the tournament, shows a high level of play and has an excellent ranking in the OAE golf standings. Recently, she won the Open Championship for women at the Trump International Golf Club in Dubai and also took prize places in the competitions for amateurs in the OAE.

Remember, Intisar Al-Rish, Lara Al-Sheib, and Khanna Allaan have also successfully completed preparation for the tournament, aiming to fight for the top spots. Both athletes have impressive results in foreign competitions and have excellent statistics, attesting to their high preparation.

Coach Flora Byut stated: "This tournament provides players from the OAE an excellent opportunity to test their abilities on the Asian and international arena. For our athletes, this is an important step on the way to future competitions in the Persian Gulf region, as well as in the Arab world. The Gulf Federation of the OAE aims to participate in such tournaments to accumulate international experience."
